The Kwikset SmartCode touchscreen smart lock with Home Connect technology enables wireless communication between the lock and other devices in the home. Through a web-enabled device, users can remotely check the door's lock status, lock or unlock the door, and receive notifications. The SmartCode is a one-touch locking motorized deadbolt that features a personalized code for keyless entry and a back-lit keypad for increased visibility.

Kwikset's patented SecureScreen™ technology prevents code detection from fingerprints on the touchscreen. The lock is easy to install, program, and use, and operates on 4 AA batteries. It also features SmartKey Security as a backup keyway, allowing the single-cylinder deadbolt to be locked or unlocked using the keypad, key from the outside, or turn button from the inside.

The Satin Nickel finish of the SmartCode adds a modern and clean appearance to the product.
